This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

Dave Boede founded his advertising and Internet professionals company on the idea of true integration. What does that mean? For Dave and his business partners, it means approaching each client with the aim of providing 360 degrees of service—from advertising to research, to Web design and implementation, and finally to media and marketing. Dave, who has a marketing career that spans more than 18 years, told me that true integration requires integrating brand promise, personality, product delivery, customer relationship experience and all other marketing elements.

Well, there’s no question that it takes a marketing expert to know just exactly what will get a company the attention it needs. And Dave is that expert. As a former partner at a large advertising agency in Salt Lake, Dave contributed to successfully building the brand of one of his clients into one that was known worldwide. And in the process, Dave helped make the account one of the largest the agency had.

Following a successful career with that agency, Dave left to start his own company in 1996. He took with him not only the skills of a brand marketing whiz but a career’s worth of insight in handling high-tech accounts. And because of that, Dave attracted several business partners, each with nearly the same amount of expertise.

Steve Grigg, an award-winning 20-year veteran of the design and advertising business, joined Dave to oversee his company’s creative services. Merri Lee Barton, an expert in high-tech media and also an award-winner, joined to manage the firm’s media services. Kelly Hindley, a writer and high-tech PR guru, partnered to head up the company’s brand intelligence group. Lori Feld, a communications strategist, took on the agency’s customer relationship marketing services. Scott Kempema, also a strategist, partnered to oversee account services, and Arthur Watson, the former operations manager of a large, multi-national company, joined to manage the firm’s operations.

Have they had success? Certainly. In just five years, boede&partners has built a lengthy list of clients in Utah and across the country.
