This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

It seems like garbage follows the law of gasses. It expands to fill all available space. Isn't it amazing how much "stuff" and garbage we accumulate?

Garbage, junk, rubbish, trash, debris or whatever you want to call it — we all have it. I've got a friend who hasn't been able to park his car in his garage for years because of all the "stuff" he has accumulated. Another friend recently moved after being in the same house for more than 20 years. He and his wife had a mountain of "stuff" they had accumulated and were amazed at how few of these possessions they actually wanted or needed.

Well, most of us have garbage or junk or "stuff." There is a new company serving Davis, Salt Lake, and Utah counties — Garbage Guy — who can help you reclaim your garage, attic, basement or yard.

Garbage Guy is a locally owned and operated clean-up and hauling service. Garbage Guy (whose name is really Robert Allen) started the company in Gilbert, Arizona about three years ago. Business has been very good and Robert decided to come back to Utah and open this second location.

You may have seen him in his orange truck, cleaning out a rental property or hauling away debris from remodeling projects. The Garbage Guy also whisks away items ranging from old furniture to tree trimmings.

I liked very much how Robert told me that all useable items are donated to local charities or recycled. The rest is taken to proper disposal sites. Robert showed me "before" and "after" pictures of a customer's basement and backyard. The pictures illustrated the immediately visible results Garbage Guy can provide.
