This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

Since the time he graduated from high school, Dave Frampton has been involved with construction. He worked for several residential builders before becoming a commercial superintendent for a local company. During his years as a superintendent, he decided he was ready to start his own company. He formed DAYT Construction in Sept. 2000.

DAYT Construction, headquartered in Centerville, does everything from residential remodels to new home builds to multi-family build jobs such as condos and town homes. Some of their most recent projects include building the El Matador restaurant in Bountiful, working on the Volker Building renovation on 300 West and 1700 South in Salt Lake City and Stegner Place in Holladay.

Dave tells me the company has done very well thus far with around 95 percent of their business coming from word of mouth. The diversity of doing both commercial and residential builds has also been a good niche to work in.

One thing the company prides itself on is that customers can get in touch with someone from the company any time of day or night. Dave says they provide several contact numbers clients can call and be guaranteed to reach somebody.

Dave credits the success of DAYT Construction to the great staff he has. The team works hard and always looks out for the best interest of their customers. Without his great employees, the company couldn't exist, he says. Dave's parents taught him that honesty and integrity are essential to any success in life, and he has always tried to implement these same principles to his employees.

What he enjoys the most, Dave says, is seeing satisfied customers enjoying the project they wanted. Many DAYT Construction clients have also become good friends. Dave tells me he never could have dreamed of the success he has found thus far and hopes business will continue to increase.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
