Snow, Christensen & Martineau attorney and NFL Certified Contract Advisor, Joseph P. Barrett, was recently certified by the National Basketball Player’s Association as a Registered Agent. Barrett is the first athlete agent in Salt Lake County to negotiate an active player contract with the National Football League and the only athlete agent in Utah registered with both the NFL and the NBA.

Earlier this month, Mountain America Credit Union sponsored a bike safety fair to remind kids how to stay safe on their bikes this summer. About 200 kids and their parents showed up for free helmets. They rode through a full-scale safety course learning how to stop, get off their bike and walk it across an intersection—among other safe practices. Some of the kids even had their bikes “licensed” by the West Jordan Police Department. A licensed bike can easily be identified in the event that it gets lost or stolen.
