The 23rd Bike M-S Ride will be held this weekend at the Cache Valley Fairgrounds in Logan. Bike M-S is Utah’s largest two-day organized cycling event. The weekend-long event features food, live music, themed rest stops and a fully supported bike tour. Participants collect contributions from friends, family and co-workers to sponsor their ride. Cyclists have the option of riding between 40 and 175 miles over the two days.
The goal is to raise 1-point-8-5 million dollars. Participants must collect a minimum of 250 dollars in contributions. Online registration has closed but walk-up registration is available the day of the event for 50 dollars.
Riders will have access to rest stops, food and water, first-aid support, bike mechanics and supplies, as well as vehicles along the route to offer assistance. Saturday night, riders and their families will enjoy a pool party and an awards dinner presentation.
Visit www.cureMSutah.org or call 1-800-344-4867 to register or for more information about M-S and the National M-S Society.
