Tuesday's Metro Business Report -- June 23, 2009
THIS IS LANE BEATTIE, PRESIDENT OF THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT
The Public Safety Complex has drawn a great deal of interest from people throughout Salt Lake County. Mayor Ralph Becker has announced the structure will not be built on Library Square and there are several options for where it may eventually be built.
As part of an ongoing commitment to make Salt Lake City one of the most open and transparent governments in Utah, the Mayor’s Office, in collaboration with the Salt Lake City Council, will give the public an opportunity to offer input on the proposed locations for a new Public Safety Complex.
This afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30 at the Sprague Library at 21-31 South eleven-hundred east in Salt Lake City, you can let the Mayor’s office know where you think this new complex should be housed.
The Chamber recognizes the need for a new public safety complex and we encourage you to help determine the location.
