Friday's Metro Business Report -- July 18, 2008
THIS IS LANE BEATTIE, PRESIDENT OF THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT
If you’ve been downtown lately you’ve probably seen the posters promoting Monet to Picasso. The collection is on loan from the Cleveland Museum of Art and is largest ever hosted by the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. Salt Lake City-based public relations firm Richter7 created the campaign. Salt Lake will be the only western stop for the traveling artwork on its eight-leg world tour and will showcase through September 21. Don’t miss your chance to see this amazing display while it’s in town.
Do you know an outstanding woman in business that goes above and beyond expectations in the community? It’s time to nominate her for the Athena award for the Salt Lake Chamber’s 2008 Women & Business Conference. Applications are being accepted through August 1st for the Athena and Pathfinder Awards. For more information, or to make a nomination, see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
