The “Big Green Bus” keeps rolling along. Waste Management, a West Jordan based company, has committed to sponsoring the environmentally efficient vehicle for a second year. Students at Dartmouth College designed the bus to be powered primarily by waste vegetable oil. Waste management was chosen because of the company’s commitment to think green with alternative and renewable energy and their recycling programs. Don’t forget to join us tomorrow for the Business Women’s Forum luncheon with guest speakers from the Asian Association for Utah. The mission of the association is to provide culturally competent services to Utah’s immigrants and refugees. There will be a Special Prize Drawing with proceeds to benefit the YWCA.
