In an effort to help consumers save money on the rising cost of health care, Wal-Mart announced its third phase of the 4 dollar prescription program. This will cover a 90-day prescription for 10 dollars, additional women’s health medications and the new 4 dollar over-the-counter offer. It will also provide more options for customers and physicians who had been previously restricted by mail order. To learn more, visit your local Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club pharmacist.
EnergySolutions received an impressive 580 applications for their second Foundation Scholarship program. Of those, 120 students were awarded a $2,000 scholarship for college when they study in the areas of math, science or engineering. The students will be honored at a banquet to be held later in May at which time, an additional $2,500 will be awarded to three Distinguished Award recipients.
