Did you know that a recent survey shows 79 percent of students have an understanding of at least the basics of economics, but only 42 percent performed at a proficiency level, and only 3 percent at advanced? This helps reiterate the critical nature of “National Teach Children to Save Day,” a program that helps students learn and understand their personal finance. To encourage the program, Zions Bank has recently announced that more than 600 kids at the Boys & Girls Club in Salt Lake, Park City, and Tooele will learn financial ABC’s from President & CEO Scott Anderson, CFO Kay Hall, and many other Zions Bank volunteers.
The Intermountain Electrical Association has awarded Spectrum Engineers’ work on the Utah State Capitol Restoration and Seismic Upgrade with Electrical industry Best Project for 2007. The IEA awards program recognized industry excellence in quality, integrity, vision, and purpose.
